W&A was established in 1982 and has earned an impressive reputation for successful, innovative solutions to complex engineering and operational problems. Our clients include a cross section of international, industrial, military and academic organizations and we specialize in projects that require a creative approach and the application of sophisticated instrumentation.
Recent accomplishments include development of a Deep Towed Isophase Interferometric Swath Bathymetry system, two Remotely Controlled Deep Ocean Rock Coring Drills, the GeoMAP Sonar Data Processor, the Seabed Burial Assessment Survey System (C-BASS®), and the Resistivity Data Acquisition System (REDAS). W&A also has a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Geological Survey to investigate the comercial potential of Induced Polarization techniques in detecting and classifying seabed sediments.
