Founded in 1983, our firm has been on the cutting edge of marine and offshore technology for decades. We are pioneers in deep sea mapping systems, seafloor drilling, submarine cable installation and autonomous subsea imaging.

Seafloor Drilling and Sampling Systems

Williamson & Associates has been developing seafloor drilling and sampling systems since 1991. Our remotely operated systems feature flexible deployment platforms that can be mobilized on a wide range of vessel profiles.

Remotely Operated Core Sampler

Our latest drill system, the Remotely Operated Core Sampler (ROCS), is designed to be mounted on a work class ROV, making this tool one of the most flexible and economic ways of obtaining deep sea core samples.

Williamson & Associates has been providing subsea imaging and illumination solutions to clients for years.

Recently we have developed the SOLO Series family of standard products which provide autonomous imaging and illumination in a subsea environment for use in geotech, fisheries and offshore construction among other applications.

The SOLO Netview system is a trawl camera and light solution originally developed for the Alaskan Pollock fishery fleet and associated research organizations. Applications include bi-catch monitoring, bi-catch excluder performance assessment and general trawl net survey tool.

SOLO Series III Product Family

Our SOLO Series III family of standard products provide a modular solution to subsea autonomous imaging and illumination.

These camera and light systems are self powered (li-Ion), programmable and capable of HD video and digital stills.

Williamson & Associates has been a leader in deep sea survey and mapping systems since 1983.

Our current assets include the WA-30 and AMS-60 deep tow side-scan sonar systems.
